以下摘自1974年，魏克森出版的一本书，书名为"异象"。在本书的前言，魏克森如此写着：
"今年(1973)夏天，第二个异象临到我。这个异象有五个悲剧的灾难临到地上。我没有看到眩眼的光线，没有听到声音，也没有听到天使跟我讲话。有一天当我祷告到很晚的时候，这些世界灾难的景象就临到我。因为是如此的震撼，我只能跪着，呆若木鸡，直到精疲力竭。刚开始，我无法相信我所看到的。这些异象的信息对我这个只看到物质的心智是如此的惊恐、天启、不舒服。但这些异象夜复一夜地临到我。"
……."我用上帝的话检验这些异象，其信息与圣经经节的关联性。这些信息的一部份会在很近的未来就发生，一些会在较远的未来发生。但我相信异象中所有的事件会在这个世代发生�"…….
底下这些预言取自 " The Vision "这本书，要注意这些内容是在27年前写的。
1) 世界经济的混乱
a) 一个大幅度的衰退会影响到美国及全世界，每一个领薪资的人，生活方式都会受到影响。
b) 信用借贷会变得无法控制。
c) 黄金无法保值。
d) 会有全世界金融体系转换为单一体系的呼声。
- 在经济衰退之前，美元将变得强势。
- 一个新的危机发生会摇动世界金融，摧毁对美元的信心。
- 一个超级的世界领袖会升起，在复苏的罗马帝国的权力基础上恢复世界经济秩序。
- 有着看不见数字的兽的印记会被使用来植入前额及前臂，只有光学扫描器可以辨认这个数字。
- 一个世界性的信用系统会建立起来。
- 准备迎接世界贸易协定，由世界政府的警力所维持着。严格的国际贸易方针会建立起，一个世界市场会被很大权力的机构密切地监视着。
e) 因经济衰退而状况不佳，导致药物吞食过量自杀案件发生。
f) 对环境保护论者及生态学者的强烈反对。
g) 一些正面思想的传教师产生混乱。
h) 暴乱和示威
-波多黎各人，古巴人，墨西哥人皆有参与
-因为其他的政府计划而削减社会福利措施的削减或撤消。
- 许多南美洲城市发生巨大暴动。
i) 虽然衰退是因为欧洲的经济活动引起，但美国会遭受多数国家的遣责，特别是法国。
- 从欧洲大量撤军回美国，欧洲共同市场将填补这个空缺。
2) 猛烈的天气变化
世界将因有史以来最严重的天气变化地震、洪水及可怕的大灾难而见证了不幸的开始。
a) ......在不久的未来，美国经历有史以来的大地震，....我相信会发生在最想像不到的时候。
b) 荒会来临 - 干旱、洪水和其他的灾难会彻底摧毁全世界的食生产。
c) 美国的食物储藏会渐渐变少。
d) 人口会超过生产 - 非洲数百万的人口会饿死。
e) 不幸的开始
-洪水、暴风雨、龙卷风、雹暴会发生的更频繁。
-人们会谈论大自然已超出控制。
- 大自然会不断增强地宣布他的愤怒。
- 最强的暴风雨将来临，世界许多地方将面对全时间的严冬。欧洲面临最恶劣的情况。
f) 传染病的暴发，包括重大的霍乱。
g) 大面积的冰暴。
h) 奇怪的天上景象；慧星、火球、云烟。
3) 腐败道德的开始
a) 电视上的身体裸露。
b) 汽车旅馆X级的电影。
c) 有线电视的X级节目。
d) 以男性裸露为特征来吸引女性市场的杂志会大量泛滥。
e) 性教育，学生被教导同性恋的爱是正常的。
f) 孩童被同性恋攻击。
g) 对末日的基督徒的最大诱惑将兴旺 - 衣服、汽车、电视、运动等等。但滥用身体(包括性欲)、诅咒他的名，都还不是未来敌对上帝最大的罪。最大敌对上帝的罪是在一个世代、时日，人们对他清楚的呼召完全忽视。
h) 极端严重的谣言打击传教师。
i) 错误教义的增加。
j) 虚假的 "耶稣运动"，模仿基督的行为，但却没有降服于他。 4) 年轻人憎恨父母 - 恨意被伪善的父母所激起
a) 新的药物促进道德的败坏。
b) 年轻人酗酒会增加。
c) 憎恨、苦毒、反叛会增加
-当父母因不良的身教及粗糙的态度而激起了他们孩子的怒气，这个恨会扎根而导致他们离家出走。
d) 许多家庭精神空虚。
5) 一个心灵的迫害将开始
a) 敌基督的灵会进入某些位于高层的人的心，在政府及司法的系统，导致这些官员参与法律操纵的设计，以困扰自主的教会、传教士、牧师。
b) 所有的宗教媒体被严密地监视着。
c) 超级世界教会的兴起
- 由自由主义的新教徒和罗马天主教所组成。
-同性恋为超级教会所欢迎。
- 以"崇尚被造物"形式的公众裸露为超级教会所接受。
- 在超级教会内实行秘术魔法，命运教导等。
d) 地下教会的超自然神迹的发生。
e) 对基督徒各种形式的迫害。
-对有领袖地位的天主教徒的迫害。
-对传教媒体限制的迫害。
-来自好莱坞的迫害，更多更多的电影制造商企图除去道德观念的限制。
当电影发扬光大秘术、魔法而引起轰动的同时，传扬福音的教会和传教师同时会遭受特定的攻击。
-来自电视喜剧的迫害，电视喜剧会愈来愈大胆地嘲弄基督及真基督徒，毫无庄严的态度。
-透过对教会征税来迫害。
-透过政府逐渐侵蚀基督教的教育体系，年轻人缺乏尊敬，腐化老师。
-一个 "憎恨耶稣" 的运动，伴随着魔鬼的崇拜。
g) 在铁幕及竹幕关闭之前，会有一个短暂的灵性复兴。
ilkerson's "The Vision"
I happen to have a paperback copy of Wilkerson's "The Vision". Copyright date is 1974. In the book's introduction Wilkerson writes;
" A second vision came to me this summer ( 1973 ). It is a vision of five tragic calamities coming upon the earth. I saw no blinding lights, I heard no audible voices, nor did I hear from an angel. While I was in prayer late one night, these visions of world calamities came over me with such impact that I could do nothing kneel, transfixed, and take it all in.
At first I did not want to believe what I saw and heard. The message of the vision was too frightening, too apocalyptic, too discomforting to my materialistic mind. But the vision came back to me night after night".........
........"I have tested the vision by the Word of God, and scripture correlates it's message. Parts of this message will come to pass in the very near future. Some of the events are more distant. But I believe all of the events mentioned will happen in this generation"........
The following are predictions from "The Vision". Please keep in mind this was written in 1973, almost 30 years ago.
1) Worldwide Economic Confusion
a) a recession of such magnitude it will afftect the lifestyle of nearly every
wage earner in America and around the world.
b) credit debt will become nearly uncontrollable.
c) gold will not hold its value.
d) -a call to revamp all the world's monetary systems into a uniform one.
-just prior to the major recession the dollar will appear to be gaining strength.
-a new crisis will develop that will shake the financial world destroying faith
in the dollar.
-a super world leader will arise to restore economic order using the Revived
Roman empire as a power base.
-the mark of the beast will be implemented' " Invisible numbers will be
implanted on the forehead and forearm and only photoscope scanners will be able
to detect the numbers
-a world wide credit system will be developed.
-"Be prepared to hear of world trade agreements "policed" by
and international governing committee. Strict guidelines for international trade
will develop and a "world market" will be closely monitored by big
power interests."
e) suicide by overdose due to economic setbacks and conditions.
f) a backlash against environmentalists and ecologists.
g) confusion for the "Positive Thinking" Preachers.
h) riots and demonstrations
-Puerto Ricans, Cubans and Mexicans involved
-social aid programs cut back or curtailed along with other government projects
- great riots coming to many major South American cities
i) the United States will be blamed; " Although economic actions in Europe
will trigger the coming recession, the United States will be blamed by most
nations for what happens". Especially by France.
- drastic troop withdrawls from Europe with the European Common market moving
to fill the void.
2) Drastic Weather Changes
"The world is about to witness the beginnings of great sorrows brought
about by history's most drastic weather changes, earthquakes, floods, terrible
calamities- far surpassing anything we have ever yet witnessed".
a) "The United States is going to experience, in the not-too-distant future,
the most tragic earthquake in its history." ....." I believe it is
going to take place where it is least expected"
b) famine is coming - drought, floods and other disasters will wipe out the
world's food production
c) America's food reserves will dwindle
d) population will outstrip production - millions will die of starvation in
Africa
e) "The Beginnings of Sorrows"
-floods, hurricanes, tornadoes and hailstorms will occur more frequently.
-"Men will be talking about nature being "out of control".
- nature will unleash its fury with increasing intensity.
- "The most intense hurricanes are coming. Many parts of the world face
the most violent winters of all times. EUROPE FACES THE WORST LASHINGS EVER.
f) outbreaks of epidemics, including a major cholera epidemic.
g) violent hailstorms of huge proportions
h) strange signs in the heavens; comets, fireballs, vapor trails
3) A Flood of Filth - moral landside is coming
a) nudity on T.V.
b) motels with x-rated movies
c) x-rated cable T.V. programing
d) "There will be a flood of magazines designed especially to attract the
female market, featuring male nudes. Even the most respected national magazines
will become more erotic in their advertising and in their copy.
e) sex education - students will be told that homosexual love is normal
f) attacks by homosexuals on children
g) the number one temptation for the last day Christian will be prosperity -clothes,
cars, T.V. , sports etc. but," The greatest sin of the future against God
is not abusing the body, indulging the flesh, or even cursing His name. The
greatest sin against God now is simply to ignore Him in a day and age in which
he is calling so clearly".
h) extremely heavy gossip against ministers.
i) an increase in false doctrines
j) a false "Jesus movement", imitating the behavior of Christ but
not having surrendered to Him.
4) Youth Hatred of Parents - provoked by hypocritical parents
a) new drugs continue to contribute to moral decay
b) teen-age alcoholism will increase
c) hatred, bitterness and rebellion will increase - "As parents provoke
their children to anger by poor examples and harsh attitudes, this hatred will
take root and will cause many to forsake home and to run off."
d) spiritual emptiness in many homes
5) A Spirit of Persecution is coming
a) "An antichrist spirit will enter the hearts of certain men in high places,
in government and the judicial system, causing these officials to engage in
legal manneouvers designed to harass independent churches, missionaries and
ministers.
b) all religious media to be closely monitored
c) the rise of a Super World Church - consisting of a union between liberal
ecumenical Protestants and the Roman Catholic Church.
-homosexuals welcomed by the Super Church
- public nudity in the form "creature worship" accepted by the Super
Church
- occult practices within the Super Church, fortune telling, etc.
d) the rise of a Supernatural "Underground" Church of true believers
e) forms of persecution against Chrisitians
-persecution against Charismatic Catholics,
-persecution through media being restricted for gospel preachers对
-persecution from Hollywood - "More and more movie makers will attempt
to debunk puritanical moral values. Gospel-preaching churches and ministers
will come under special attack while at the same time the occult will be glorified
and sensationalized.
-persecution from T.V. Commedies -"T.V. Commedy will become bolder and
bolder in poking fun at Christ and true Christians." nothing sacred attitude
-persecution through taxation of churches.
-undermining of Christian Education thru government, youth lack respect, corrupted
teachers
-a "hate Christ" movement - coupled with devil worship
g) a spiritual awaken behind the Iron and Bamboo curtains whose doors will close
after a short period of time.
